Succumbing to main stream America

So I'm finally joining the rest of america and starting a blog. I could go on and on about how I've managed to lose touch with the modern world in the past 3 or so years, but since I'm sure only my family will look at this, and I love my family, I'll spare you all. And yes, after living in Texas for 2.75 years, I still say "you all"; I haven't absorbed the signature Texas "ya'll." I suppose I'm not a true Texan yet. And just in case someone happens upon this who doesn't know me, I'm 22, pregnant with child number two, and currently living in a 3 bedroom home with my beautiful 9 month old daughter, my kitty Pistachio, and my dog Lily, who recently lost her bladder control and has been banished to our huge back yard. My common law husband is named Miguel, and he is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle and loving man I have ever met. He's a great father, not to mention, he's super sexy ;) Anyway, he lost his job a few months ago and had to move to Indiana a month ago so he could support me and Chloe while I'm working towards my bachelor's degree in Biology. I miss him and I hope he can come home soon. My life right now consists of taking care of my daughter, trying to keep up with my school wok and maintaining a house and yard by myself. It's going ok. I guess that's about it for now.
