Sunshine

I like this picture. I'm not sure why. I can't write much because I have a test tomorrow which I need to study for, but before that, I need to give Pistachio a flea bath. That's always fun. Cats and baths go great together. Speaking of Pistachio, she took herself on a little outdoor adventure last night. Last night I had the back door and the kitchen door open with the screen doors shut to try and cool the house down. Well, over the past few months, the screen on the kitchen screen door has been tearing more and more to the point where it's pretty much useless. But I didn't worry about it too much because Pistachio won't jump over the baby gate when I use it to lock her in a room, and the screen door has a metal bottom that's the same height of the baby gate, so i figured it would keep her from going outside. I guess I was wrong. Last night I noticed that she hadn't been hanging around the living room like she usually does around feeding time, but I didn't think too much of it. Then I went to lock up, and when I went in the kitchen, I saw her big blue eyes staring up at me through the hole in the screen door with a paranoid look. She then jumped right over the metal barrier and back into the house. No more leaving the door open.
