Well, Chloe is feeling much better today. She's still sick and little more fussy and sleepy than usual, and of course her appetite is ridiculous. But she was able to play and be happy for a good part of the day, so that's a good thing.

The other baby seems to be pretty active. I've been able to feel it move on a regular basis for the past week or so. I should find out if it's a boy or girl in about a month. I'm hoping for a girl. Of course, the only reason why I want a girl is so that I don't have to worry about getting any new clothes. Still haven't even started thinking about names. Such a slacker.

Speaking of slacking off. I have two tests on Monday. I pretty much should have started studying for them as soon as Chloe went to bed. But did I? No. I painted the kitchen again. I painted it about a month ago with this emerald green color thinking that it would look really classy and go well with the horrible burgundy countertop, which I hate. Of course, the color was way too dark, and it didn't go well with the burgundy at all. So last week I bought a new color and tonight I painted the two big walls. It's so much better. I'll post the before and after pictures. The blue is the new color. The greenish color was just way too dark. I don't have very good lighting in the kitchen, so at night it made it feel like a dungeon in the kitchen. And the new color will look really nice when I finish my countertop project. I still have to get the bullnose tiles, and I changed my design a bit so I need to order another square foot of the glass tiles. And then I need plywood and backerboard, which won't be too expensive. But of course, I was at the Home Depot last weekend and I started looking at sinks. I decided that as long as I have to take out the sink and start the countertop from scratch, I may as well put in a new sink since the one I have is impossible to get clean. I've tried all kinds of cleaners on it, and it always has this icky white film on it. And of course, if I get a new sink, I'll have to get a new faucet to go with it. So that adds at least $300 on to my project. Which means I'll probably never get started on it because I'll never have the money. Sigh. I'm considering getting a job over the summer. If I do that, then I can fund a few of my home improvement projects, but then I won't have the time to carry them out. It's a Catch-22.

Well, it's getting kind of late and I need to put my kitchen back in order now that the paint's pretty much dry. (For those worried about me painting while pregnant, I do have a mask with organic paint filters. No need to worry).

I love that shade of blue. I think it looks great! Good luck on your tests Monday!

I like both shades. But, agree that the blue will look much better in your small kitchen. I want to see a photo of you in the "mask" I still just laugh whenever I think of you wearing it to vacuum or change a stinky diaper. Glad Miss Chloe is doing a bit better. Love You!!!
