Another day

I know this picture is really blurry and kind of old, but check out the look on Chloe's face. It's hilarious, and it's one she's been making a lot lately. She scrunches up her nose and shows her teeth and takes herself pretty seriously as she does it. I love it. I can't ever seem to get a photo of it though because it comes and goes very quickly and she's always turning her head and getting distracted by all sorts of things.

I finally got a hold of a real person at Texas workforce. I found out what i need to do to apply for childcare assistance, and I actually got a physical address for where I can take the needed paperwork. It looks like this place may actually exist. I'm hoping that I can work about 30 hours a week this summer and actually be able to keep some of the money I make instead of giving it all to Chloe's daycare. That's where Texas Workforce comes in. I'm hoping to be back to work by sometime next week. I really need something to occupy my time that doesn't involve spending money, and working seems like the perfect fit. Plus, we could really use the extra money. I'm still planning on going to visit Miguel in June though. The best part about getting the childcare assistance is that it's good for when I'm in school, too. If I'm eligible, then they'll keep paying for daycare when I go back to school. I wish I'd known about this a year ago. I could have had at least some of her daycare paid for all last year while I was going to school. Oh well. I got good grants last year, so it worked out, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting as much this year, so hopefully I'll qualify for this. Well, I need to get to bed. Chloe and I have a lot to do tomorrow.
