Baby proofing

I finally took care of some baby-proofing that I've been putting off for a while. I've already blocked access to everything that can obviously harm Chloe, but this time I had to take care of something she kept causing harm to. I have kept all my sheet music and piano books in a milk crate (classy) and a magazine rack on the floor next to the piano for several years now. Well, Chloe just can't seem to keep her little hands off of it. Everyday she goes over there to play piano and inevitably ends up over at the sheet music pulling out books and tearing up any paper she finds. And when I firmly tell her no, she makes a big sad face and then starts to cry. I decided it would be best to just avoid this whole scenario and get the books off the floor. Since I don't have the money or the space for a big bookshelf, I went to Home Depot and got two shelves and brackets to mount directly to the wall. It looks pretty cluttered, but it gets the job done. I spent all morning messing around with this weird version of Photoshop and I created this masterpiece:
While I was creating this thing of beauty, Chloe was busy on her own project. I must have been pretty engrossed in what I was doing, because last time I looked at her, she was not wearing this lovely toga. Luckily she was pretty interested in the window, so I was able to get a few pictures. Here's a collage of my little Roman Goddess...

She's even doing a classical pose for this picture. What a little artist. Time for lunch!

Those shelves look great! Isn't it fun to see how stuff like that can improve not only the room bur your outlook! I'm not surprised Miss Chloe is artistic, she gets it from her mama! I remember only too well the nifty outfit you made for yourself out of plastic bags:0)
