I realized today that my cell phone can take really short videos with audio! I've been wanting to record Chloe's laugh, and I finally got it! Copy and paste this link into your browser, and it should take you to a you tube video of Chloe laughing:

The picture quality is horrible, but that doesn't really matter because the audio's good, and that's the best part. When she gets tired, she gets really goofy and giggly, and she thinks it's really funny when I smack the couch pillow. Apparently it's a pretty funny noise to her. So I was hitting the couch pillow and she was cracking up and I got it on video! I'm so proud of myself.
I'd have to say her giggles were the best part of my day. Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful day. I had my follow up appointment with the dermatologist today. I won't post any more nasty pictures, I'll just say that the cortisone shot did absolutely nothing and I still have a hideous bump on my arm with a scab that hasn't healed in over a year. So the physician assistant said he wanted to refer me to another doctor in the area who has a laser. He said I could wait while he contacted the doctor and my insurance to get it all set up. I was so glad to hear that he was willing to do all that crap. Well, as luck would have it, the doctor with the laser is on vacation. So we can't do anything til he gets back next week. At that point, I'll have to have my gyno refer me to this new doctor, and then my insurance will probably deny it because laser therapy is considered a cosmetic procedure, so then I'll have to appeal it. I'm not anticipating this to be easy or to happen any time soon, but something has got to be done. Nothing's working, and like I said, I've had this scab on my arm for well over a year (it showed up while I was pregnant with Chloe) and every time it gets bumped or I absent mindedly mess with it, it bleeds all over the place. Anyway, I'm very skeptical that I'll actually be able to get the procedure done.
I didn't go to the gym today for a number of reasons. One reason was because I knew I needed to mow the lawn and I figured that would be exercise enough. Good thing I decided that. It wore me out! It's usually not that difficult, but there was no wind at all today, and I was sweating up a storm and I kept bumping the handle of the lawn mower on my belly. That was enough for today. Of course, I still have a big sink full of dirty dishes waiting for me, which also involves significant bumping of the big belly. I feel like I should be a lot further along than I am. This baby has really strong, frequent kicks, and I already feel huge. I know 2.5 months isn't that long, but I still feel like I should be having her way before October 1st.
Hmm... that's pretty much it for today. I have to go tidy up the living room again. Chloe sure is good at making messes. Today she realized that could not only pull the movies out from the entertainment center, but she could toss them across the room. I've really got to box those up or something. Better get to work.

That is Hilarious!! I just wish it lasted longer!! I've heard her over the phone and YES it is adorable. Way to go with the exercise this week! You had a really busy week and you fit it in there. That baby is active because she is going to have to keep up with her crazy laughing, video tossing, cat chasing sister!
