No personal pictures today since I'm at school. I'm sweating like a pig. I didn't do my workout this morning since I had a test today and I needed to use that time to study. So I worked out after class, and now I'm a big, sweaty, pregnant mess. I know Chloe usually takes her nap at daycare about this time, so I figured I'd wait an hour or two before I go pick her up because I hate interrupting her naps. Yesterday when I picked her up, she'd been asleep for 5 minutes when I got there, and that was a disaster. I figured she'd go back to sleep on the car ride home. Nope. So then I thought I could just plop her in her crib and she'd go to sleep. Wrong again. Eventually, she did go back to sleep (emphasis on eventually). I am so freaking hot and sweaty right now. Gross.

So anyway, I got to go to the jetties yesterday with my invert class. For those of you unfamiliar with jetties, I've posted a picture of the very jetties we went to. It's pretty much a big line of huge granite pieces that extends out into the bay. There's a pair of them, and the purpose is to break up the waves for the big ships coming into the port. We went to them to look for inverts living on the rocks. I took my flippers and dive mask and did lots of swimming and diving. I saw a lot of fish that I had no idea lived in those waters. That's about all I saw though. The water clarity was not great. But other students collected sea urchins and coral pieces and crabs. It was a beautiful, clear day, too. I had a good time until I tried to get out of the water. Needless to say, the huge pieces of granite are not very easy to pull yourself up on, especially since they're either covered in sharp barnacles or slippery seaweed. I decided it would be easier to get out if I didn't have my flippers on. Big mistake. Some girls were trying to help pull me out the water, and I tried to get a foot hold on the rocks, and I cut the bottom of my foot open. Oops. It's kind of deep, but it'll be ok. I was afraid it would keep me from being able to work out, but it didn't. It feels fine. Hmm, I was trying to upload a picture of the jetties, but it's taking forever. If it doesn't go, I'll post a picture when I get home so you can see what I'm talking about.

School is already winding down. I only have one week left. I must say, my first summer school experience hasn't been too bad. I'm really glad I took my senior presentation during summer, because I can't image how they could drag that class out for a long semester. And it's also a good thing that I took this invert class during summer as well. It requires a lot less work than it would during a long semester.

I guess I don't have much more to say. Chloe's still cute, and still not walking. I'm still pregnant and the baby seems to be doing just fine. Pistachio is still a trouble maker. Miguel is still in Kentucky. Pretty much the same old stuff.

Hope your test went well and that your foot heals nicely- but most of all that Chloe wakes up sweetly :0)

I cannot BELIEVE you didn't know who Michael Vick was. Get on the football train! It's the best! Come on! Everyone's doing it! AND you live IN Texas. You have no other excuse. I miss you, though.
