First of all, I just went to the pharmacy. I was planning on going to the drive-thru in order to avoid getting Chloe out of her car seat. But, there were already 3 cars in line, so we went inside. When I got home, I took a look in the mirror. This is what I found.

Yes, there are three separate flecks of green stuff in my teeth. Not the mention the complete lack of color in my lips.I really do brush and floss every morning and night- sometimes it's just not very obvious. And I went out in public like this. *sigh*

The reason for me being at the pharmacy is a completely different story. This morning I called Chloe's doctor just to make sure that she couldn't get whooping cough since she had been vaccinated. I was a little worried because she woke up with a nasty cough this morning. The doctor told me that she could very well get the disease despite the vaccination, and he wanted to see her today. I was already on my way to school by this time, so I set an appointment for 4:15, the soonest I could get there. I avoid afternoon doctor appointments like the plague, but I had no choice. We got there at 4:15 and didn't get out until 6:00pm. Ridiculous. The end result: Chloe probably doesn't have whooping cough, but now she has a whole new arsenal of medicine:

So the good news is I will still be able to take her to daycare, which means I will still be able to go to school. The bad news is she's on antibiotics again, which means a week of nasty diapers. As if her normal diapers weren't bad enough.

I wanted to post a picture of my wedding ring here. That's right, I have a wedding ring. I'm not married, and I don't have a date set to take care of that formality, but I do have a ring! I can't wear it yet because it's too big and I can't get it sized until after I have the baby and my fingers return to normal size. Anyway, ever since the first time I saw an opal, in grade school, I knew that I wanted an opal wedding ring. I wanted an opal set in a silver-color metal. And then everyone said I couldn't have an opal wedding ring because the stone's too soft and it will break. Well guess what? I don't care. I wanted an opal, so that's what I got. And here it is (ignore the pregnant sausage fingers)I love it and can't wait until I can get it sized and wear it around. Sometimes I wear it on my right middle finger.

My day wasn't completely filled with long waits at the doctor's office and pharmacy. I started off the morning by hanging out with Miss Chloe, then we went to radio shack, then I took her to daycare, and then I went to school and did my workout. It went really well. I felt really energized the whole time and nothing hurt! I did a total of 30 minutes cardio and then I did a brief arm workout. It was nice. And then I had two classes, and they were fine. And thanks everyone for the compliments on my belly size. I have to admit, the picture I posted yesterday is very flattering. That's why I chose it. I have several other pictures that are not nearly as flattering, but a little more realistic. I'll be keeping those pictures to myself.

I managed to get a little video of Chloe walking yesterday. I used my digital camera, so there's no sound, and the lighting in my house is horrible, so it's really dark, AND I was holding the camera sideways, but it's the best I have. Let's see if I can post it... ok, I let it process for 2.5 hours and I gave up.

Well, I was saving the green stuff in my teeth for later, but I think I need something a little more substantial, so I better find something to eat now.

Sweet teeth! You look like you live in Texas and drive a car with a deer head sticking out the back window:0) I REALLY can't say anything because I got home from the DR. office the other day and looked in the mirror and there was a lovely bugger lodged in my right nostril in plain sight that had to have been there from when I blew my nose BEFORE I went in to the Dr. WHY did no one say anything to me? I know there were no gestures from the nurse wiping at her nose trying to diplomatically indicate the offending particle. And while the Dr. was probing in parts much more sensitive, he couldn't drop a clue?
Oh my, I'm ranting again.
I'm sorry Chloe and you have to go the rounds of a new batch of drugs. Hopefully it will make her feel better.
I think the ring is lovely! Just like you!

I love the teeth picture! How funny. I do that all the time. Your ring is gorgeous! I have never seen a ring like that and love it.
