I just purchased Miguel's plane ticket. I figured that it would cost just as much for him to drive down here by the time you figure the gas bill and the time missed from work. So after exploring every other possible option, I booked him on a flight from Evansville to Corpus. He'll be here two weeks. Can we afford for him to be here for two weeks? I don't know yet. It depends on how much he works in the next month and how much money sends back to his other family members. He'll get here on the 25th, so hopefully I don't have the baby earlier than that. I doubt I will, but you never know. I'm hoping to have a few days with him before we have another screaming baby in the house. It'll be great to see him again. I have to remember to have my mom take a picture of us together since I hardly have any. Of course, who knows how much I'll weigh by then, so I probably won't want my picture taken. But the good news is, I ordered my ipod today. As luck would have it, I did win that last auction. I'm getting a green ipod shuffle, new, supposedly with the warranty from Apple. It was $58. I hope I got a good deal. Actually, I just hope it works and I can figure out how to use it so I can listen to it while I work out once school starts next week. And hopefully my pregnancy will continue to be uneventful and I'll be able to continue with my workout til I have the baby and resume soon thereafter. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
(to Jaron- Thanks for the warning. Luckily, they don't turn the music in the exercise room very loud, so I shouldn't feel compelled to turn the volume way up. I like to still be able to hear what's going on around me. Thanks for looking out for me!)
