Almost test time!

I have my first test of the semester in a half hour. So how come I'm not cramming for it right now? I have actually managed to keep up on my studying this semester and I feel as prepared right now as I'll ever be, so I'm just going to relax for the next 30 minutes.

I had my doctor appointment this morning. The sonogram tech changed my due date to October 12. I wasn't expecting that. According to his measurements, Leyla weighs just a little under 7 pounds. All her measurements look good and she seems to be healthy. Despite the change of due date, she won't be born any later than October 1st. If she hasn't arrived on her own terms by October 1st, the doctor will induce (yes mother, the doctor and I discussed it today at my appointment, so don't worry, you'll get to meet little Leyla).

In other news, I finally figured out how to make Chloe drink her milk! I totally weaned Chloe off the bottle at about 13 months, and since then, she refuses to drink milk from a sippie cup. Actually, she'll drink it at daycare, but not at home. So I've been trying to sneak her calcium into her diet it other ways: cheese, pudding, etc. Well this morning I took a few spoonfuls of fruit yogurt and mixed it in with her milk. It was sort of like a watered down fruit smoothie. She LOVED it. So she got her calcium requirements, AND beneficial bacteria from the yogurt.

Time to go eat lunch!

I've said it before and I'm saying it again - You're a Genius!!! Now I want to try the milk and yougurt trick - not that I have any problem drinking milk- it just sounds so tasty!
Hope your test went well - and thanks for the reassurance about the birth. Oct 12? Sheesh!

Good luck with your tests this week! I am so glad Leyla is cooperating so Miguel and your mom can be there. Nice work on getting Chloe to drink her milk.

do you think this test might put you in labor? i'm a tad concerned. also, you need to state your "official due date" for the record.
