Lack of sleep

Leyla's a really great sleeper... during the day. Night time is a completely different story. I'm too tired to go into the details, but it sucks because during the day I have to go to school, so I can't catch up on my sleep during the day. Except today, I had an hour and a half break between classes, so after pumping milk in the bathroom in the library, I took a nap on a library couch. It's a good thing she's so cute.

I took this picture of Leyla with her dad a few days ago. Look how tiny she is compared to his hand!
And Chloe woke up from her nap today with some pretty awesome hair. The picture didn't quite capture the hair do, but it's a cute picture anyway.
Besides being tired, I'm doing pretty well. Although I am started to get pretty worried. Miguel leaves on Tuesday. His mom is having some health problems, and it looks like I'll be on my own when Miguel leaves. I'll admit, I'm pretty scared of that thought. I can handle a lot of stuff, but I don't think I can handle a 15 month old, a 3 week old, full time school, and being head of household. Something will have to give, and I'm afraid it's going to be school. I know I can finish my chemistry class because my professor won't mind if I bring Leyla to class, but my other classes have required labs, and you can't bring a child into a lab. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out if there's anyone else I could trust to watch Leyla who would be willing and able... I can't think of a soul.

Speaking of tiredness, I'd better get ready for bed.

I am sorry to hear about your lack of sleep. I truely remember those days. I know how hard it is to let others watch your baby especially because she is still so little. I have been there done that, and still there with the same problem. It is a never ending story. I hope you can figure something out. I hope you don't have to quit school. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers daily that something will work out. I hope layla will start letting you sleep at night and get back into the day and night sleeping. {Big Hug to you}

Sweet hair! She looks even more like Dom with that do :) I sure hope you can get something worked out so you don't have to drop all those classes. I sure miss being there to help. Glad Leyla slept a little better last night.

Sounds pretty stressful right now.
The lucky thing is that school will always be there. Your kids won't always be little. You are tough enough and determined enough that I know you will make your way... whether sooner, or a bit later.
You are in my prayers too.
