Yummy

I just made what is quite possibly the best white chocolate pumpkin cheesecake I've ever baked. Usually the molasses from the gingersnap cookies in the crust make the crust really tough, but that didn't happen this time. And it even looked pretty. This is the first cheesecake I've ever baked that didn't have a big crevasse running down the center. It's supposed to chill for another 2 hours, but of course I couldn't wait and I had to sample it. As stated earlier, it's delicious! And I've got Miguel here to help me eat it, so I don't have to worry about eating the whole damn thing myself, which tends to happen when I bake delicious dessert items. I should have taken a picture of it before I took a slice out. Oh well.

Yesterday Chloe was goofing around with her dad on our bed. She flung her whole body back and the back of her skull made contact with Miguel's forehead. Of course she started to cry, so I looked around to see what I could find to take her mind off it. I found an old headband of mine and gave it to her. It worked, she shut right up. Well today my little accessory queen was showing off her headband along with her barrettes.

Earlier this week she wanted her daddy to put a pink ribbon in her hair. As you can see from the look on her face, she was a little disappointed at his ribbon tying skills. Apparently dad's not as good at tying ribbons in hair as Grandma.
I'm posting a picture of my chair because it was a steal. Five bucks! We really needed a chair to use with the computer, so my mother and I went to salvation army and we found this beauty! I actually think it's pretty cute, and it's a lot more comfortable than the director's chair I was using before.
One more item of news: I got a good sleep last night! Leyla only woke me up twice. The first time I was up for about an hour and fifteen minutes, and the second time, only about a half hour! I hope this trend continues. Leyla is stirring right now, so I'm going to get ready to feed her.

Your cheesecake sounds delicious. We don't get many treats like that here due to my amazing lack of willpower. I am however, trying a new caramel cheescake recipe to serve to some of my friends on Tuesday. Sounds like you enjoy baking and trying new things.
