The other reasons are now null and void. I was worried that if I got married, I would get less financial aid for school, but I don't have to apply for financial aid anymore. I've already been promised my financial aid for the spring semester and after that I only have one class to take during the summer session. Then I graduate.
My other reason was because I was still covered under my dad's health insurance, but that would no longer be the case if I got married. Same thing for flight privileges on United. But I just lost my insurance and flight privileges a few weeks ago. So now...
So then I got to thinking some more and I said to myself, hey, why not get married this winter? If we get married before the end of the year, we could file our taxes as a married couple. But then I thought maybe members of my family would like to attend my wedding and they would probably need more than a month's notice to get down here. So this is my question to anyone in my family reading this- how many of you would realistically be able to come to south Texas for my wedding? If anyone is actually planning on coming down for my wedding, whenever it may be, about how much notice would you need to make the necessary arrangements? I don't want to disappoint anyone who may have been planning on attending my wedding by eloping before Christmas. I've waited 2 years to get married, I can wait some more.

I want to be there! I would need a couple of months advance I think. (although while on sabbatical I have much flexibility)
During the school year some things just aren't flexible, so it is all a crap shoot.
You won't be able to get everyone who wants to be there, there. You need to do what works best for you and your plans and know all will do what they can.
So that really made no sense. Other than I would try to come wherever it is.
We would love to come but only have a limited income so that makes traveling tough. We will try our best to be there whenever and wherever it is. I agree though that you need to do whatever is best for you guys.
