Here's the video

Ok, I finally got the video uploaded. So now everyone can see Leyla on the first day she rolled over.

Speaking of Leyla, she developed quite a nasty cough while at daycare yesterday. I can tell her throat really hurts because when she tries to do her pathetic whimper, which is normally very high pitched and frantic (and funny), all that comes out is a hoarse scratchy sound that comes and goes. Poor little creature. Naturally, I didn't know about her ailment until I picked her up at 4:00, so it was too late to go to the doctor by then. I decided I'd just keep an eye on it until the morning. She made it through the night, but it was worse this morning. Miguel didn't work today because it's rainy and freaking freezing, so I had him take Leyla to the doctor while I took Chloe to daycare and went to my morning lab. Then I met him at the children's hospital during my break because she had to get labwork done to determine whether or not she has the flu. I called my professor of my class that I'm supposed to be in right now to inform him of the going ons, and I pretty much got him to admit that it would be ok if I missed class today. So now I'm home with Leyla awaiting the lab work and waiting for her prescriptions to be filled. The good news is that she hasn't had a fever yet and she's still eating ok. But her cough is so nasty and she sounds so miserable, I couldn't not take to the doctor.

Anyway... Leyla's sleeping right now. Miguel just went to get his paycheck. I just got back from trying to jog around the neighborhood. It didn't work very well because it's 44 degrees outside with 96% humidity, which means it's really freaking cold. So... I guess I should catch up on some reading or sleeping.

Well, I finally got time to wait for the video to upload and watch it. She's a determined lil bugger. What a cutie patootie!
