Well, nearly one week and $3000 later, our sewer line is now fixed. What a lame thing to spend thousands of dollars one. Oh well... I suppose that's the downside of home ownership.
Yesterday I got to go electrofishing. My Fisheries Biology class went out to Corpus Christi Lake with the Texas Parks and Wildlife and we shocked and collected a bunch of fish. The shocking doesn't kill the fish, it just stuns them and makes them float to the surface of the water. It was pretty cool to get some hand-on experience.
I can't remember if I ever posted this picture, but it's cute, so it's no big deal if I post it again.

Chloe has been throwing so many fits lately. She gets all bent out of shape about pretty much nothing at all and throws herself on the floor and won't get up. I usually ignore her as long as I can, and then I put her in her time out chair. I'm really not sure what else to do. The time out usually helps her calm down. But the real problem is with her throwing stuff. She gets all excited and picks up anything that's on the floor and throws it up in the air. The problem is that Leyla spends a lot of time on the floor, so she is usually in the line of fire. It doesn't matter how many times I tell her to stop or how many times I put her in time out for throwing stuff, she just keeps doing it. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions??

My best suggestion is to call grandma V. who is the best in the business!!
Gram V is who I always called when I didn't know what to do. I wonder what the Super Nanny would say? It sounds like you're keeping your cool so that's good. I didn't have a drama queen so I don't have much experience. I would try to distract her somehow I suppose...
Let me think about it. I'll call you.
