The camera's still missing. I'm pretty sure Chloe tucked it away somewhere. She's really good about putting things away. I find her toys in the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen and bathroom all the time. Hopefully the camera will turn up one of these days.

Anyway, this cold is getting really old. I've had it since March 5th. My hearing is all messed up too. When I listen to music, it sounds like the band is singing underwater. It's all distorted. Yesterday I thought that the speakers on my laptop had gotten blown out, so I hooked up some external speakers and decided that those too had been turned too loud and blown out. I realized it was my ears when the TV sounded like it too had been played too loud. And my suspicions were confirmed when Leyla was screaming and it sounded like her speakers were blown, too. Maybe my ear drum broke or something. I don't know. I don't know anything about ears.

So, it's spring break. I've been working on projects instead of taking a break. But if I don't get a good start on all the stuff I have due in April and May, I'll be screwed. This morning I had to play piano for a funeral. It was kind of odd. I have no idea who died, and the speakers didn't know her either. Katherine was supposed to play, but her pregnancy has her on bed rest for the time being, so she asked if I would fill in for her. So I did. And then I made some graphs that are due next week.

I just can't wait for friday though. I decided that during spring break I would devote one day for each project I have coming up. Monday I worked on my Symbiosis presentation. Yesterday I worked on my Fishery Management Plan, today was my Fisheries Biology lab, tomorrow is Marine Mammals paper, but Friday is my day. No school work on Friday. I'm finally going to paint my living room and do some yard work and tidy up the house. I'm really excited. It's my reward for all the school work I'm doing during the week. And the best part is that Friday night, my mom flies into Corpus for a week visit! I'm excited.

Well, I'm going to go outside and see what Miguel's up to. I really want to find that camera because my new door is all installed and painted. Maybe I'll just do a video with a little tour of our front yard. Hmm, we'll see.

I'm with you, I LOVE the yard work, the planting, and the mowing. you feel such a sence of accomplishment. Plus you can turn away the opportunity to be outside in the sun??? Can't wait to see the door and the garden, we are thiking about gettting a new door too!
