Yeowch!

It's 2:00 in the morning. Normally, I would have been in my cozy bed asleep hours ago. Alas, this is not the case. I was watching TV with Miguel and we stayed up a little later than usual. Around 11:00, Leyla woke up and needed some milk. I laid on the couch and fed her and the pressure in my ear started to build and wouldn't stop. Now it really, really hurts. So much that I can't sleep. I put some drops in my ear that were left over from when Chloe had an ear infection and took some Tylenol. I'm hoping that something will start to kick in, because this really hurts. And what perfect timing- Friday night. The health center isn't open over the weekends, so I'll have to tough it out until Monday. I'm pretty sure it's an ear infection seeing as how I've had a cold for the past week and a half.

I'm also hoping that if I sit here long enough it'll help with the ear pressure. We'll see how that works out. My day started out well enough. My 8:00 class was canceled, so I didn't have to worry about getting up crazy early. I had a test in my Marine Mammals class. I was a little worried about it because I've never taken a test from this professor before. But I think it went just fine. He seems to be a pretty reasonable test writer, which is a refreshing change of pace.

The weather today was beautiful! After my test, I headed to the gym, and on my way decided that I'd go jogging outside instead of on the treadmill. It was so nice! Last time I tried jogging outside, it wasn't a huge success. Well today was quite the opposite. Except for the fact that I have NO BLADDER CONTROL whatsoever. Other than that, it was quite a lovely jog.

After I took a shower in the locker room, I went to a local garden center and bought some really pretty daisies and lilies. I picked up the girls and we headed home to plant the flowers. Chloe helped for a while, and Leyla helped by staying asleep. Then I put Chloe down for her nap and continued with my gardening. I mowed the lawn for the first time since last August, and I must say, cutting the grass is a lot easier when you're not 9 months pregnant. It's actually pretty relaxing. I would post pictures of my pretty flowers and my cute girls, but my camera has been missing the past few days. Cleaning my house is on my huge to-do list for this weekend, and I'm hoping it'll turn up once I start cleaning. Until then, it'll just be old pictures and stuff I find on the internet. I also got some cala lilies, but I didn't have time to plant them, so I'll have to do that tomorrow. And tomorrow I'll wear sunscreen!

My ear is starting to feel a little bit better. Hopefully I can go to bed within the next few minutes. That would be great. I just discovered that the drops I put in my ear ran down my neck and they're all oily. I need to clean that up now. I'm really hoping I find my camera so I can post pictures of our new door and the new fence Miguel built. (actually, he didn't build it because he's still hurt, but he designed and directed it). I better go now.

Stupid spam blogs! I had another one on mine today as well. I'm sorry you have a crappy ear infection. Those are horrible. If id doesn't settle down try to call Rick and see if he'll call you in something.
Hope your day goes well.
Just think a week from now I'll be there!
Watching Chloe and Leyla last night on Skype made me even more anxious to see you!

I can totally relate on the no bladder control. I commiserate with you but at the same time like knowing I'm not the only one. I totally cannot jump on the trampoline with my kids. I just tell them it gives me a headache. It' their fault anyway for sitting on my bladder all those months. Good thing they are worth it.
