Leyla with her new quilt (not quite finished)
Here are some of Chloe's latest words/phrases:
"goodness!"
"what a mess!"
"thank you very much."
She's also been repeating some less than desirable words. I'd like to say she picked those words up from somewhere else, but they came straight from her parents. We're trying to clean up our language for her sake, but that is one tough habit to break.
And on Sunday, she started combining words. We were watching a fishing show and she said "green...water." "Orange... shirt." Today in the car she said "nice... flower" and "pretty... flower." She leaves a big pause between the words she wants to put together. It's cute.
I know I had more I wanted to write about, but I can't remember right now. So I guess that's it!

so I love the quilt! Are you making it? Oh and the white rug? Did you get that new to put over that other carpet? I like it!
Those are some groovy shorts Chloe is sporting there. I like the quilt. I think it will go very nicely in her little room. I like the new phrases Chloe is coming up with. And yes, it is extremely difficult to break bad language habits. Ask grampa V about that one. So, hopefully you'll be able to help her to eliminate those from her vocab. I have faith in you!
oh, and you did manage to get a couple of cute shots of Leyla too..The lil cutie.
Love the quilt, love the pictures of the girls.
Chloe is a little copycat guru.(most kids are) She will pick up on everything you watch, say, do, think, eat, pee, whatever.
She'll think thats what being human is.
what a smarty!
I love these pictures of Leyla. She is so beautiful and happy. The quilt is really pretty too. Sounds like chloe is going to be super smart like her mom.

You are so talented. Are you still doing the craigslist sewing advertising thing? If not, you should. I would totally pay you to make something for us when we have kids.
Your kids are adorable.
Love the quilt. You have an excellant eye for color and put things together in a way I couldn't imagine, but I love it
