2 Year Anniversary!

Two years ago tonight, Miguel and I spent our first night in our new home. We didn't sleep very well because you can hear EVERYTHING through our non-insulated walls, and Lily kept barking at every little noise. Not only that, I was 9 months pregnant and we had our bed situated in a way that the air from the a/c vent wasn't hitting us at all. Anyway, last year I did a post with pictures of our house when we first moved in compared to a year later. I thought I'd do the same thing this year.

2006

This is our home a few weeks after we moved in...



2007

Some improvements between June 06 and June 07 include new paint of trim, improvement of landscaping and removal of aluminum screen door from front entry, removal of icky mail box from center of bush and new locked mail box attached to house.


2008

Some improvements between June 07 and June 08 include: new entry door, new light fixtures, new side entry door, removal of duct-tape repaired aluminum screen door, privacy fence for side of house, outdoor box to house my recycling bins (seen next to white door), and finally finished painting all the trim! (thanks to Miguel for that)

(That door's been there for almost a year now, and I still haven't painted it)

Well, I wanted to do more before and after of other parts of my house, but maybe I'll just randomly do a few anniversary posts throughout the month because it's getting late now.
