The wiggles

No pictures right now because I'm at work on my lunch break, but I'll try to add some in when I get home tonight. No guarantees on that though because by the time I fix dinner, read stories with Chloe, attend to Leyla's needs, bathe the girls, wash the dishes, put the girls to bed, and get all my stuff gathered up for the next day, it's already way past my bedtime.

Anyway, back to the title of this post: The Wiggles. My cousin told me about the Wiggles last year when I was visiting family in Idaho. Her little boy was a toddler at the time and was dancing around to the videos, and she told me how much he loved them. I remembered that, and one day when Chloe was being a little difficult, I decided to look up the Wiggles on youtube. That's what she's watching in the video on my previous post. She now asks for three separate songs by name and plays them over and over and over and does the hand movements and does her best to sing along. I'm thinking I'll need to get her a DVD of the Wiggles for her birthday to get her away from my computer. Everytime I sit down and try to do something on the computer, she's up in my lap requesting "hot potato" or "monkey" or "car".

My mom pointed out that I need to post some video of Leyla. So I'll try to add that right here when I get home. Check back later for that. She's still crawling all over the place, and when I try to set her down on the ground, she usually puts her legs straight down like she's going to stand instead of sit. And then I'll hold her hands and help her kind of walk around a little bit. She's got it all figured out putting one foot in front of the other. Maybe I'll have Miguel record that tonight and I'll post it. It's hard to explain, but I'm sure it'll be easy to watch.

I guess that's about it for now. Work is going ok. Still not learning a whole lot, but I should be getting enough money to pay the bills, so that's good.

I've seen this show. It is utterly ridiculous and terribly annoying but kids sure seem to like it. Anyway, thanks for the tips! My page looks a little better but i still hate html.

Nice to have some sort of distraction for Miss Chloe when she gets wound up. At least it's not Barney. Can't wait to see more video of the girls, but you sound plenty busy too. Take care of yourself sweet pea.
