Scranton, Pennsylvania

Anyone who has watched The Office on NBC has heard of Scranton, Pennsylvania. What I didn't know is that Scranton is a real place. And what I just found out tonight is that Miguel is leaving tomorrow to go work in Scranton. Which means tomorrow I'll be living with just the company of my daughters again, which I am not looking forward to (that sounds bad. What I mean is that I'm not looking forward to having no help with taking care of them). It also means I can't work anymore since daycare costs more than my measly paycheck brings in. Which is unfortunate because I actually really like my job. But I should be able to go back when school starts.

Taking this all into consideration, and looking at the United flights for this week, I am really hoping I can be in Idaho on Wednesday. Right now there are two chances to get from San Antonio to Salt Lake that look really good and are at a decent time. If the flights stay wide open and I can get my crap together, I may as well just do it. No sense in sitting around here doing nothing and feeling sorry for myself when I could be visiting friends and family.

So the good news is that Miguel should start making some pretty decent money in the next few weeks. The bad news is that I'll be taking care of two very high drama little girls all by myself, which is not easy. Hopefully this new job will work out and hopefully I won't go completely insane.

Bringing home a paycheck is good! Having to do it so far away- not so much.
Looking forward to seeing you "sometime" soon!
