Then she said "quack quack." Pretty much all birds say quack quack in her mind.So... the first half of my work day was really, really wet. The second half was really windy. That's pretty much all I have to say about that.
Hmm... I don't really have much more to say. I guess I'll list some of my favorite Chloe phrases of the moment:
"Sit down and watch the wiggles!" She just said that about 5 seconds ago. I'm assuming she hears that from her dad once or twice during the day.
"A boo be careful!" translation: you better be careful!
"It's just a fly." The word "fly" can be substituted with a number of offending objects: hair, spider, car, etc.
"Leyla nasty attitude"
"mama ruuuunnn??" this is her request to go for a ride in the jogging stroller, which we've had to do a lot lately since I've been too tired to get up at 5:30am and go to the gym.
"sorry honey" she says this when we're jogging and I accidently run over a pot hole with the stroller.
"Eww! Gross!" She just says that all the time.
"That silly pirate!" If you've seen the wiggles, you know what she means.
And what's new with Leyla? Dancing! She loves to dance with the wiggles. She also likes to bite Chloe when she feels Chloe has wronged her. She knows exactly what she's doing.
Hmm. I hope Miguel gets home soon so I can go to bed.

Ohh!!! Those made me laugh. I can juat hear her saying those in her careful halting way. And Leyla with her retaliation. Chloe is going to have some stiff competition from now on out. Good luck mama. Or should I say run mama run!?

No worries, my friend. Dean and I are coming to the reunion and I can finally meet the rest of the illusive Holmes cousins! Our names were on the hotel room assignment email like 4 lines above your room assignment. I don't know if you got a different email than we got but we sure as heck are coming because we already have our plane tickets and I took the time off of work. I am really look forward to meeting you and your girls and your Mom. Dean LOVES your Mom and has told me so many good things about her.
P.S. I am SO GLAD that the hurricane missed you guys and that you don't have to swim to your mailbox.
I'm so glad you survived the hurricane! I had to check today just to make sure! Whew. Chloe is a card for sure!
I have not seen the wiggles and now feel I might be missing something. I hope you bring a dvd when you come.
Hope you got some sleep.
