I am freaking awesome

I only had one real class today, and it was Instrumental Analysis. Last week we took a test. I felt like I did pretty well, but I got nervous when our instructor starting talking about the test results. She said she was really disappointed because the grades were so bad, and then her son (a 6 year old sitting in the front row, who was visiting our class because he didn't have school today) yelled out that only one person got a 100. Then she started passing back our tests and I was getting even more nervous. In case you didn't see it coming, I just happened to be the one person that got a perfect score. You know what makes it even better? That course is a 4000 level Chemistry course, and at least 75% of the students in there are Chem majors. That means that I, the lowly Biology student, did better than all the people who are majoring in this subject in that class. I freaking rock... at Chemistry anyway.

As I stated earlier, this weekend was tough for me. But it wasn't all crying and screaming. The girls helped me with some house work, as you can see here. Chloe helped fold the laundry by wrapping herself up in this fitted sheet.Check out the look on her face. Woah.
And Leyla helped with the cooking...Leyla's taking a nap and Chloe's quietly laying on the couch, so I need to take advantage of this time and get some school work done.

I've always said you were awesome. It's good to see you finally agree with me! Way to go Miss Brainiac:0) And in Chemisty no less. WOW!
I love your ever so darling helpers. Chloe does look a little extreme. And check out those cool crop pants on Leyla.

Now you COULD do cold fusion research.
Um.... let's be honest though... most of us have known about the freakin awesome thing for a while. So glad the test has let you believe it in part at least.

I want to mention that you ROCK because (even more important than your test) you tried to interact positively with your girls in spite of a difficult weekend.
Phenom!!!
