...still sick

I thought that the girls were all better by this afternoon. Earlier in the morning, I had made the mistake of sitting at the computer to give Leyla a bottle. She took most of the bottle, and then promply threw it up all over me, the chair, and the carpet. I did my best to get everyone and everything cleaned up, but it still smells like vomit by the computer. Not quite sure what to do about that. However, I didn't have any problems after that incident. I was able to get Leyla to eat a few crackers, and even take 3 smaller bottles throughout the afternoon.

So, I had my friend Ryan come over and watch the kids so that I could go to my night class. Apparently I was a little premature in my conclusion that the kids were all better. Leyla threw up twice while I was gone. And I just got thrown up on about 15 minutes ago. Luckily, my t-shirt took most of the load of this one, so I just threw it in the wash. Poor little Leyla. I tried to be all motherly and stay by her side as she fell back to sleep on a towel in her crib, but she kept getting excited and saying "hi!" so I had to leave the room. I'll go back in there once she's asleep.

I'll tell you what, I will be lucky to make it through this semester the way things are going. I think I've already missed more classes this semester than I missed during the semester that I delivered Leyla. And I can't get any studying done at home because if I try to read or do anything school related while the girls are awake, I get interrupted constantly and can't keep a train of thought. And once they're asleep, I have to catch up on house work, and by the time that's done, I'm exhausted and need to get to bed. So here we are at 2:00 in the morning, and I'm thinking about reading my chemisty text book. One thing's for sure, I've got to get away from the computer because the smell of Leyla puke is really getting to me.

Try to spray Frebreze everyday for a week and that might help elimate the smell by your computer.

Good luck,

Ah, the days of puke and sleeplessness. I too, think you are doing great. Though I understand your concern. Just hang in there. You don't have to get A's you just have to get through these last couple of months. You'll make it.
