Tag!

So, I've been tagged, and I'm supposed to tell 7 weird/interesting things about myself and then tell 7 other people to do it and leave them a comment about it. I don't know that I'll tag the full 7 people, but I'll pick at least a few.

1. I have always loved cats. I am a crazy cat lady. When I'm 65, I'll probably be that old lady with 25 cats in her house, and I'll have names for every one of them.

2. I love to sew. But not clothes. Clothes are too frustrating. I like to sew quilts and banners and do repairs and make pillows and pillow covers... you get the idea. Anything but clothes.

3. I am a hippie at heart, but lack to capacity to be a full-fledged hippie. I recycle everything that the city of Corpus Christi will pick up (paperboard, cardboard, paper, HDPE, PETE, aluminum, newspaper). I use cloth grocery bags. I believe in the principles behind veganism, and once practiced it for about a half a year, but it got too expensive, and now I lack the funds and the motivation to cook every single meal from scratch. And I feel guilty because I know the truth about commercial farms, yet I still eat processed foods. Shame on me.

4. I am extremely critical of myself and of the work I do.

5. I wish my family would move down here because I hate being wet and cold, but I miss my family!

6. When I was pregnant with Chloe, I became really sensitive to smells. The good news is that smells no longer nausiate me like they did when I was pregnant. The bad news is that I'm still really sensitive to smell. I think if I had to choose a sense to loose, I would have to go with smell. Most things just don't smell good.

7. I'm competitive, but quietly so. I don't need everyone to know that I'm the best at anything, but I persoanlly feel a need to be the best. Sometimes I think that if I can't be the best in what I'm doing, I just shouldn't try. Luckily, I'm also pretty rational, so I can regognize when I'm being unrealistic and set healthier goals.

Hope you enjoyed my 7 random Kelsey facts. I tag... my mom, and Brianne. No worries if you don't want to do it.
