Chloe: Where black kitty??
Mama: Want to go look for it?
Chloe: Yes. Let's find it!
After I put the wiggles in the DVD player, Chloe shouted, "Here it comes! Don't touch the button!"
I took the girls out shopping this morning, and when we pulled into the driveway, Chloe was not ready to come home yet. She pointed at the ignition, and demanded that I restart the car by shouting "Mama- Turn it on!" It wasn't so much a request as it was an order.
Every time either Miguel or I walk in the kitchen from being outside, Leyla stops what she's doing, runs to the kitchen, and says "Hi!...Hi, hi."
And check out this picture. She'll hate me for posting this when she's older, but I think it's hilarious.
Last night was pretty rough. Leyla started to fuss at around midnight. This is nothing new. She pretty much always does that right at that time, but last night actually got cold, and I knew that I hadn't dressed her properly for cold weather. So instead of just letting her work through it, I went in and put a warm fuzzy blanket over her. Big mistake. She continued to scream at the top of her lungs after I left the room. So then I decided to sneak in Chloe's room and get some fuzzy footy pj's from the dresser because I knew Leyla wouldn't keep the blanket on. I put the pj's on Leyla and held her for a little while to get her calmed down. She pretty much fell asleep, but as soon as I put her back in her crib, she started screaming again. After giving her tylenol, the fuzzy pj's, love, and even attempting to have her sleep next to me on the daybed, I just gave up. This kind of crap went on for at least 2 hours. I don't know what her problem is. She's supposed to be taking her nap right now, and she's just screaming. She's got to be tired. She hardly slept at all last night. I know I'm tired. I would suspect an ear infection or something, but she hasn't been showing any other signs. I think she's just cranky.

Those are some mighty fine pics of the girls. Some sweet quotes too. Bummer about the loss of sleep. She is obviously a light sleeper. I DO remember trying that calming down thing with Jaron and getting Sooooo frustrated when I'd have him asleep and then him waking up. Hang in there.
Hi Kelsey! I saw your blog on Keri's and thought I would say hi! It has been a long time! Sounds like you are doing great! Your girls are adorable!
You have some pretty adorable kids, cute looking, and cute talk!
Love love the bottom beaver teeth shot of Leyla!
