What the hell??
Seriously, why wont' my child just sleep through the damn night? For the past two weeks, she's bee waking up at midnight and throwing these massive tantrums. I tried calming her down the first couple days, but that just made things worse. I took her to the doctor, but no ear infection. Now I'm afraid to even open her door due to the repercussions for the last few days. I wish you could her the terrible noises she's making. Last night we were able to just ride it out and she eventually went back to sleep. But she's so damn loud, and Chloe got ahold of my ear plugs again, so sleep is impossible. I got as far away from her room as possible, but there's only so far you can go in a 950 square foot home, and it's not far enough. She's still too loud, even with a pillow over my head. Why won't she just sleep through the night? She's 14 months old for crying out loud! This is getting beyond ridiculous. I feel like getting my tubes tied because I feel like Leyla's never going to afford me another full night's rest, and I can't even image what the next one would have in store. And it's normally not a huge problem, but I actually have to be somewhere by 8:00am this morning. I usually celebrate my children's differences, but this is one instance where I really wish Leyla were more like Chloe.

Wow, I can tell you are tired (as in no sleep) and tired of the same wakeup routine too. I know it has to be rough mentally as the semester draws to an end.
I'm thinking....earplugs are cheap girl. Go buy the industrial 100pr bag and keep them in a high drawer out of Miss Chloe's reach. That will at least dull the roar.
I'm one step ahead of you. I went to the 24 hour walgreens at 1:00am this morning and bought a box. And of course, she had stopped by the time I got home.
Hmmm... maybe you're on to something there. Take a drive around the block, put in ear plugs, or put on some soothing music on your ipod and try to tune her out.
Frustrating!!! If you can get some sleep things will definitely look different. Hang in there!
