Sidewalk Chalk

I did manage to get a little gardening done today, but not with the girls. I waited until it was their nap time because the first thing I had to do was spray the lawn with weed killer stuff. And then I just did some weed pulling and rearranging. Nothing picture worthy. I like the idea of gardening with the girls, but the reality is not so good. The front yard isn't fenced in at all, and there's two of them and only one of me. So outside time usually occurs in the back yard, which is completely fenced in. So after nap time, we went outside and colored with sidewalk chalk, and Leyla pushed herself on the swing and pet the neighbor's dog. And I did remember to take a few pictures...(Isn't she beautiful??)
And this little girl with her dimples is just too cute for words.
We never did get around to going jogging this weekend. I believe that's the first weekend since I've been back that we haven't gone. But, it was rainy on Saturday and cold today. I don't mind the cold because I'm running and working up a sweat, but I feel bad subjecting the girls to that since all they're doing is sitting. I feel like I wouldn't know if they were getting cold because I'd be so hot from running. So no running adventure for us today. Which is probably just as well considering the GI issues I had last time.

I'd love to keep putting off my work and chores, but I really do need to get some stuff done. So that's it for now, and that's probably it for pictures until next weekend since I never seem to find the time during the week.

I used to LOVE sidewalk chalk! I kinda forgot about it until I saw it on your blog. You are right...Chloe is beautiful! And so is Leyla! I am jealous that you guys get to hang out outside. I am so sick of winter. Too bad we're not moving somewhere warm!

That play time with the girls is more important than the jog anyway.
I'm sure they loved the mom time and had some fun in the meantime.

And yes, they ARE beauties. I don't think you will find many who would argue that.

Looks like you had a great day! They are lovely little tykes all right. Hope your week goes well. I'm betting you'll mdo some runs during lunch. So your time spent with the girls was a good choice.
