I finally finished painting the piano room! It's actually a dining room, but we don't have a dining table. So it's the piano room. It freakin took me forever. Partly because I can only do the painting part when the kids are asleep, but mostly because of how much time was wasted replacing that door frame and moulding. But it was worth it, the frame looks awesome. So you may be wondering why I haven't included any pictures. Well, I'll tell you why. I don't want to unveil it until it reaches it full potential. What does that mean? It means that I have 33 boxes of new flooring sitting in my living room waiting to be installed!!! If you've ever been to my house, you know that one of the first things I always do is apologize for my ugly, nasty carpet. And if you haven't been here (which includes just about anyone reading this, mom excluded) then surely you've read about it in my blog on several occasions. I can't stand this carpet. It's faded maroon, which means it's maroon and pink. It's crusty. It's hard to vacuum. It traps dust and dirt. And soon... it'll be gone. But not soon enough though because I go back to work tomorrow. Blast it all! It's good that I'm going back to work because I miss my lunch time run (check out my nike avatar at the bottom of the page. She's totally giving me a guilt trip right now), and since I found a less expensive, but more competent sitter, I'll actually get to keep some of my paycheck. But I still have so much more I need to do around the house. I still need to install all the flooring in the living room, piano room, and bathroom. I also need to move beds around. I also have a lot more furniture moving and painting to do. But I guess I'll just have to set aside about an hour each night and see what I can get done in that time.
In other news, Chloe's potty training is going pretty well. She did poo in her kitty underwear this morning, but she went twice in the potty after that. And no pee accidents yet today! Hooray for that. I do not miss changing her diapers. At all. Thanks for giving me a verbal kick in the ass, mom. I wouldn't have attempted to train her if you hadn't suggested it. And Leyla's really interested in it, so hopefully I'll get her trained a lot earlier than Chloe. Can you imagine how much money I'll be saving once I no longer have to buy diapers and wipes?? It'll be awesome.
Sorry I don't have any pictures. I tried to get a picture of Chloe on her potty chair, but the flash wasn't on, and she kept moving, and by the time I figured out what was going on, she was gone. I guess that's about it for now.

Hooray! Horray! New flooring! Newly potty trained girl. (well at least getting there:0)Look how much you got done this week! Don't try to do too much once you're back to work. It'll just frustrate you and the girls. Pace yourself. Yeah, I know easier said than done. Good for you Missy!
I admire all your hard work you put into your house and the door frame looks great. Kepp on the good work on the potty training.
