Last weekend Chloe found some mascara and tried it out. She was supposed to be asleep. We had both fallen asleep on my bed, but I woke up and tried to sneak out of the room. I thought she was still sleeping and I was sewing in the living room. I had the back door open to let in a breeze, and I looked over and saw the door moving very unnaturally. It was creepy. I thought it was the wind. But then Chloe popped out from behind the door with some freshly applied makeup. I still don't know where she found that mascara.

And later in the day, we went in the backyard to get some fresh air. Chloe found some funnels and PVC pipe. She brought them inside, and when I went in my bedroom, I was pleased to find a new addition to the bedroom. Two new "lamps!" Aren't they lovely? Thanks Chloe.

And this is a first. On Monday I had to pick up the girls early from their sitter's place because she had a doctor appointment. Since I interrupted nap time, Leyla didn't get much sleep at all. When we got home, I turned on the wiggles, and the girls sat on the couch and watched it. Leyla got nice and cozy, and the next thing I knew, she was asleep! This is a very rare occasion. In fact, I don't think she's ever fallen asleep anywhere but her crib (except for when she was a tiny infant. Little babies can sleep anywhere). She probably has, but I can't think of it now.

I haven't taken any pictures yet today. I'm hoping to get outside later today or tomorrow to pull weeds in the back yard. That should provide a good picture taking opportunity.

Those are some impressive lamps. Nice style, well balanced and a splash of color.
The fact that Chloe new what the mascara was and where it should go shows that those girls watch and understand soooo much!!! Scary.
That Chloe girl is creative just like her mama! Both in her decor and in her approach to beauty. Good times. I love the pic of Miss Leyla sleeping. It IS amazing that she fell asleep there. She must have been exhausted.
