Picture Overload

I know I've been a big blogger slacker lately. Not only have I not been posting, but I haven't even been keeping on my favorite blogs. Here's my attempt to kind-of catch up.

Trying on mom's goggles wearing super-cool tinker bell underwear. That's right, big girl underwear.

Leyla wearing of the dresses we bought as per her daddy's request.

Ready to run. In Elmo undies.

Chloe treating Leyla like the princess that she is.

Leyla trying on her new Easter dress.

...makin' funny faces...

...and being adorable.

Chloe running around in her "princess dress"

Let's just call this payback for all the attitude Chloe's been giving me lately...

And we'll end the photos with a much more flattering view of Chloe.

The dresses are my first attempt at sewing clothes using a pattern. I wanted to make them Easter dresses since my mom usually made me a dress for Easter. I still need to finish the bottom hem, but other than that, they're pretty much done. They're a little large. I'm thinking maybe after they grow into them a little bit I'll get their pictures taken by a photographer. I've never actually taken them somewhere to get portraits taken.

I guess that's about it for now. I need to catch up on house work.

Always adorable. How talented you are with the sewing machine. It's nice that you continued the Easter dress tradition because your grandma always made us Easter dresses as well. 5 girls and a working mom to boot! Amazing what women can do!
