The girls

I don't care if it's out of season. I love pumpkin pie. So I decided to make one this weekend. And Chloe helped.

Last night, we decided to see what would happen if we took the girls to the movies. I've never attemped it before, assuming that it would be horrible. But since Shane was willing to go along and help out, I said ok. I was AMAZED. They were so well-behaved and watched the entire movie. It was great. We went and saw UP at the movie theater. Here's a few pics of the girls dressed up and ready to head out the door to the movies.

A few weekends ago, Shane styled the girls hair and got some really cute pictures of them. I was busy sewing in the background. Here are some of my favorites...

(you can really tell she's half hispanic in this pic)

Here's a few pics I took. Leyla eating a tortilla...
And little Chloe on a big couch...

They look pretty serious about heading out for the big movie adventure. Lovely, but serious. Perhaps they realized the momentous-ness of the occasion. Soon you'll be taking them to the opera and having a highbrow review with them afterwards.
The hair styling pics look good with those two big eyed beauties.
Thanks for the upadte.
And pumpkin pie is great ANYTIME!

Who says you can't make pumpkin pie any time you please?! I think it is good any time. Most of us just never think to make it any other time but the holidays. The girls are adorable as always. Such beatiful little ladies--getting so grown up!
