February Post

The only thing my mom wanted for Christmas was for all of her kids to do at least one blog post per month. Well, she told me this after I had already bought her a gift. So, since I got her a gift, I figure that gets me out of missing a post in January, right? So, here's February's post, which is filled with pictures from December and January.

Christmas Eve- making Christmas cookies.
Making cookies works best if you do it in your underwear.

Christmas Morning:Neon green shoes! She was so excited.
My cutie future hubby. I loves him.
Woah. Just woah.

New shoes!

In Christmas-related news, the girls are STILL singing Christmas songs every single day of the week, despite our constant pleading/nagging with them to stop. Leyla thinks she's really clever because she just switches out "Sanata Claus" with "Tessa-Boo" and sings Santa Claus is coming to town. Therefore, it's not a Christmas song, and we can't get upset with her. Well played, Leyla... well played.

Speaking of Tessa-Boo...
I just love this dog. And Audry's pretty awesome, too. But sometimes she gets stuck in the rafters..
...which I find quite humorous.

After Christmas, Shane and I had the wonderful opportunity to take the girls to Idaho to visit Gramma and Grandpa Chuck.Grandma had lots of fun dressing up the girls...
... in silly blue hats...
...and pretty ribbons...
...and Idaho-appropriate cowgirl attire.

Shane and I had a nice time enjoying eachother's company sans wacky little girl antics.Christmas Story experiment...
Me and Moose-cat. He sure it getting old. Such a good kitty.

Back at home. Not quite as cold as Idaho, but cold enough to wear cute winter clothes!
I got a hair-cut and figured out how to use a curling iron.
I also saw this awesome mountain of sulfur on a surveillance run for work. It's so cool looking!
And I've had a lot of fun baking cakes and doing homework with this girl since we got back from Idaho. She's very sweet and creative.
Sissy's Valentine's day cake.

And that's our last few months summarized by the photographs I have in my iphoto library.

Yay!

Consider these posts your presents to Crazy and me, if that will add any guilt to your "I must post" pile. (:

Always love seeing whats happening with you and the peanuts.

It is a universal truth that all cookies taste better when made in your underwear.

I would have to say pretty much anything tastes better in your underwear, except liver and onions. That doesn't taste good anytime.
Great post! Can't wait til next month!
(Or sooner :0)
