Miguel played a trick on me yesterday. As usual, Lily started barking at something, so I opened the door to tell her to shut up, and I saw there was a green SUV thing in my driveway. I figured it was just someone pulling into our driveway so they could turn around, because that happens a lot. I went back inside and peeked out the window to see if it was leaving. But it didn't. Instead, Miguel hopped out of the passenger's side. I ran out the door screaming and about knocked him over and gave him a huge hug. It was a very pleasant surprise. Of course, because I wasn't expecting him, I hadn't taken a shower and I was in an old ratty t-shirt and soccer shorts with paint drips all over them. That's ok though, he didn't mind. So he'll be here for about a week. I think that's going to be just enough time. I'm not exactly a neat freak, but Miguel is particularly sloppy, so I think by the time a week's up, I'll be ready to have my clean house back. I'm not saying I'd rather have a clean house than a life with Miguel, it just makes it easier to say goodbye when I have something to look forward to when he leaves.
Poor little Chloe is sick again. Two nights ago when I put her to bed, I was doing something on the computer, and I kept hearing her cough. She's already on Zyrtec for allergies and Plumicort for asthma, but they don't seem to be helping at all. She's still constantly congested. I have to give her both of them twice a day, and I have to do the Plumicort through a nebulizer, which is simply a joy. And now she's got a really phlegmy cough and this evening she had a fever of 102. I gave her some tylenol, and it dropped pretty quickly. I swear that kid catches EVERYTHING. The entire staff at the doctor's office knows us on a first name basis without looking at any charts. And if she's not any better by tomorrow, I'll probably have to skip class and take her to the doctor. I can hear her cough right now, and it sounds like we'll be paying a visit to Dr. Viji tomorrow. Poor little muffin cake.
I got my glass tiles today. I've been trying to decide how I'm going to use them in my layout. This picture is one possibility. Anyway, I need to get to bed.

Dang! Sorry to hear Miss Chloe is sick again. She does seem to get most anything respiratory that goes around. The tile looks great! It will make SUCH a difference in your kitchen. I'm glad Miguel made it safe and sound. How did your test go on Monday?
Poor Chloe! But hooray for Miguel coming home!
