Cupcakes!!

Check out these cupcakes! Today during Chloe's nap I decided to make some delicious 100% home made cupcakes, so that's what I did. I ate one, it was pretty good. I think they look better than they taste, but they still taste pretty darn good. I wanted to do something for my neighbors to let them know I really appreciate all the help they've given me while I remodel my kitchen, so I took them over a plate with a thank you note. I haven't made a lot of progress on my kitchen since I got the kitchen sink put in. Last night I cleaned out a few drawers that had sawdust, etc in them and I mopped the floor and took out some cardboard boxes. Then I decided to call it an early night and had some nice 'me time' before bed. I guess I've just been catching up on dishes and cleaning that I've neglected in the past week. I still have quite a bit of work to do, but I think I can get it done within the next week.



Chloe woke up from her nap just as I was finishing frosting the cupcakes, so I took my camera in with me when I got her out of bed. Here are some charming pictures. She's just like her daddy and she sweats in her sleep, so her hair is all crazy. I love it. She was also practicing her favorite sound, "thhhhh". Oh, I almost forgot! Last night I was looking up recipes online and Chloe was in the middle of the living room tearing up the Sunday newspaper. I glanced over to check on her and she was standing up amidst the mess of newspaper all by herself! There was absolutely nothing near her that she could have pulled herself up with. It was so cute. It only lasted a brief second and then she fell down on her butt. She's too cute.
