Moving On

Chloe and I just got home from dropping Lily off at her new home. I didn't think I would, but I cried a little on the way home. But I feel good about it. She'll be living with a cute girl who is maybe 18 or 20 years old and a guy who I am assuming is her boyfriend and a chocolate lab. She's going to be indoors with a lot of love and attention, which is exactly what I wanted for her. I'm not exactly sure whether or not they'll have enough money to keep her on heartworm meds and flea prevention, but I know she'll be getting plenty of love every day, which is a lot more than she was getting here. It was a difficult thing to do, but I feel I made the right decision. I still can't get over the amount of calls I have received today. I really thought that placing that ad would be a waste of 8 dollars, but I was very wrong. I just wish I'd done it sooner.

Today has been a pleasant, overcast today. So Chloe and I took advantage of that and spent some time hanging out on the front lawn. I got some sweet action shots of her eating a piece of grass. Check it out.

We had a nice, relaxing time. She actually held still for a pretty long time just checking everything out. Then she spotted the mulch around the base of a tree and kept trying to put pieces of wood in her mouth. We went back inside at that point. Well, time to go to home dept to pick up some stuff!

Well, I'm SO glad to hear about Lily! And those photos of Miss Chloe! Outdoor shots are great. The grass almost looks neon. Talk to you soon!
