Ahh... naps are nice.

Chloe and I just woke up from much needed naps. I made her a late lunch, and now we're just hanging out. I took this picture after her nap yesterday. She gets really sweaty when she sleeps and it does cool stuff to her hair. She loves green beans- that's what she's shoving into her mouth. It's been a pretty uneventful day so far. We woke up late (8:15), had breakfast, sat around until it was time to go play piano for primary, and took naps after church. My plan was to paint the floor while Chloe took her nap today, but I could tell I really needed the rest, and I figured Chloe would sleep for a while (I was right), so I decided to get some sleep and I'll paint tonight once she goes to bed.

Mel commented about me being pregnant and still doing all my remodeling work. I actually think it's because I'm pregnant that I'm able to do all this. I've read that it's not uncommon for pregnant women to get nesting syndrome and feel compelled to change everything in their house. I know I had it with Chloe. I completely gutted her bedroom and painted everything and leveled the floor during my last month of pregnancy. I'm usually pretty motivated, but not this bad.

I think Chloe is having some tummy trouble. I've changed a lot of nasty diapers over the past few days, and they're not her regular consistency. Now she has some diaper rash on her bum and screams during diaper changes (and understandably so). Poor little thing. She's also been a lot more irritable, which makes me irritable.

Looks like the hurricane is going to miss us. A few days ago, Texas was included in the projected path, but now it's pretty much headed for Mexico. Sucks for Mexico, but that's good for me. I just want to start school next week, I don't want to have to try and figure out how to deal with a hurricane. I've got enough stuff to worry about.

With those green beans spewing out of ther mouth she reminds me of that character from Futurama, Fryborg? - but ever so much cuter though of course.
Hope she's feeling better today. Upset tummies are no fun for baby or mom.
