Fuzzy Purple Chair

When we were staying at my cousin Rainey's house, Chloe was trying out Noah's Elmo chair, and she really seemed to like it. So we went to wal-mart this morning to find Chloe her very own chair. I'm hoping she'll spend more time in her chair and quit messing with the recliner. I pretty much had two choices: spider man or Dora. I went with the purple Dora chair. She seems to like it so far... It's got a squirrel she likes to look at.

She's not very coordinated when climbing in the chair, but I wedged it between the couch and an ottoman, and that seems to keep it form falling over when she tries to get in. I spoiled her today. She also got a purple ball and some wooden blocks. That's my idea of spoiling anyway.

I've been asked if I've decided on Leyla for baby number two. I'm honestly not sure yet, but I like it, and I'll keep calling her that unless I change my mind. The only other name that I like equally is Lydia. I guess my great-grandmother on my mom's side is named Lydia, and she's notoriously mean. But that's not who I had in mind. My great-grandma (Chuck's grandmother) is named Lydia, and she is the coolest grandmother ever. I suggested Lydia to Miguel, and he really seemed to like it. We'll see...

I'm getting the windows on my car tinted today. I've been needing to do it for quite some time, and Miguel's been wanting me to get it done because he doesn't like the idea of Chloe sitting in the back with the sun in her face all the time. I don't like that either. And it's worse now that I've moved her car seat from the middle to a side seat. Anyway, between the window tint and the sun shade I got at wal-mart today, my car shouldn't get quite so hot during the day. And I know that when I got my windows tinted on my last car, it really helped keep the car cooler while we were driving around. I was actually able to turn my a/c down a notch or two after we'd been driving a little while. As it is now, I have it on full blast during the entire trip, no matter how long, and it's still not cool enough.

I guess I'm going to take it easy today. The car's supposed to be done sometime this afternoon. The shop owner was really nice and he took me and Chloe back to our house so I didn't have to try and wait around the shop with Chloe. Plus, that way he can take his time and make sure he does a really good job. And since I can't really do anything to my project room, I guess I'll just have to relax. I could clean the kitchen but... I don't feel like it.

Maybe if you name her after mean great grandma Lydia you will get on her good side and she will leave all her belongings to you. I personally like Leyla. Love the fuzzy chair.

I immediately thought of great grandma Berreth, she's the best. I think I like Lydia. Leyla's ok too though.
