Chloe's nose and throat doctor thinks she has infantile asthma. I've been giving her medicine via a nebulizer since she was a tiny baby. I used to be able to get her to take the medicine without too much of a fight as long as I sang to her. Well now it doesn't matter what I do, she screams and throws a huge fit through the entire thing. It's getting really hard to administer the medicine because she's getting bigger and stronger, and I can't manage to keep her still and keep the mask over her face all at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Surely I'm not the only person in the world with a one year old on daily nebulizer medication. I need help. I'm starting to dread nebulizer time, but I know I need to do it, because since I've been doing it on a daily basis, she hasn't been really sick and she's stopped coughing at night. If anyone has a suggestion or knows of another mother I could talk to who has a baby with asthma, please share!!!!
