All About My Girls

Enough about me already! This post is all about my two sweet little girls.

Chloe

1. When Chloe gets tired, she sucks her right thumb and plays with the hair on the back of her head with her left hand.

2. Chloe is left handed.

3. When Chloe was a baby, she cried a lot, and a sure way to calm her down was by putting her in her stroller and bumping it into the wall over and over again.

4. Chloe is NOT a cuddler.

5. She loves to talk on the "phone." She walks around the living room with a remote or other object held to her ear and babbles away in her own special language.

6. She will not eat canned peaches

7. Chloe LOVES books and has no interest in TV. She constantly brings books to her mother and says "dee?" Sometimes when mom's tired and doesn't feel like being a mom, she turns the TV to cartoons, but Chloe has no interest.

8. "Dee?" is how Chloe politely asks for something. Screaming is how she not-so-politely asks for something she wants.

9. When Chloe was a baby, she could always be calmed down while riding in the car if mom put in a VooDoo Glow Skulls CD. If you're unfamiliar with the group, it's a very fast-paced punk rock/ska group.

Leyla

1. Leyla makes lots of grunt noises. She grunts a lot before she starts to cry, so her mom can often figure out what she wants without her even crying.

2. Leyla is already being constantly compared to her bigger sister by her mother.

3. Leyla is normally very mellow.

4. She loves to be held and is right at home when laying on mama's chest.

5. Leyla sleeps a lot.

6. She has very long nail beds, especially on her pinkies.

7. Leyla loves to be bundled up.

8. She has a very tiny, faint brown birthmark on her collar bone.

9. She stays awake from 7pm to 9pm

10. She just woke up, so mother must go take care of her now.
