Leyla's evening consisted of snacking for a little bit and then drifting off to sleep on mom's chest for about an hour or so. (I smudged out my chest in the photo- it was a little too revealing) I wish I could just snack and sleep all day. Ok, maybe not all day, but at least part of the day. As it is, I was planning on staying up until midnight so I can register for my classes. One class I need to take only has 10 seats available, so I need to act quick. But I'm beginning to think maybe I should just set an alarm for midnight because I'm getting tired.

After talking to my mother tonight, I've already decided not to get married before the end of the year. I'm thinking this summer would be good. But I don't think I should try and set a date and location until I graduate and apply for jobs. Reason being: I'm hoping to get a job in the pacific northwest, and if I do get one, I'll just wait to get married once we've moved up there, because that way, more of my family will be able to come. And that will give me more time to get back into shape so that I can cross off my last reason for not getting married.
And I'll leave you with one last picture. I took this one earlier today while I was working on my project at school. If this doesn't make you want to be a biologist, nothing will.

Yes, that is the back leg of a rodent waiting to be dismembered on a picnic table at the university.
Welcome to my world.

I've got to say, I like the pics of Leyla much better than the squirrel bones. If you were looking for a way to keep people away from you at school I think you've found a winner. Except perhaps other biology students in the same prediciment...
I didn't mean to discourage you about setting a date - just trying to see exactly what you were thinking....
I would agree that if you can wait it might be nice to have it closer to the majority of the people you want to come to the wedding. We are hoping to go home this summer so if you do set a date we will try to schedule around it. (but don't plan around us!! you plan for when is best for you two!)I always think the same thing about the cats as you have said of leyla...they have the sweet life. I agree sometimes that life looks tempting but then I realize I am not a cat no matter how much of a crazy cat lady I am and I have to go to work. :)
