Whine and Moan

Here I go whining about the neighbors again. I'm like an old lady. But check this out and tell me if you think I'm overreacting.

This is the view out our front window. The annoying neighbors are located directly next door. I've numbered their cars- 5 lined up on the street, none in front of their own house (the next picture illustrates why).
This is a view of their house from the park. There are 2 cars, a van, a truck, and two trailers piled up outside their house.
And this is the gaping hole that they put in our fence. Almost a month ago, they asked Miguel if they could cut a hole in our fence and drive through our back yard so they could store a few vehicles in their backyard. Had they asked me, I would have laughed in their face. But Miguel said they could without checking with me. So they got right to cutting the hole in the fence and then never bothered to move any cars. So now we have a huge hole in the fence and god knows when (or if) they'll ever repair it.

So maybe I'm just an irritable old lady and get all fired up about nothing, but I think it's ridiculous.

I would be PO'd too! I used to have BSU football fans park all over the street in front of my old house and it was so irritating. I had to park around back instead of in front because of them. I would go tell them to repair the fence too if they aren't going to move their vehicles anytime soon. How annoying!

So, if you're and old lady what does that make me? :0) That is QUITE aggravating all in all. You have pointed out in the past how it has been helpful to have neighbors who are willing to help and sometimes it comes at a cost. It is definitely not out of line to insist on the fence being repaired but as far as the street goes- you may want to choose your battles.... even though it isn't right, or fair....

Holy trashy neighbors batman! Yikes.
You are no old lady. Respect and decency should be expected and received at any age.
I agree with your mom for the moment about the street.
Work on the fence first.
Crazy!

I think you should burn down their house. I'm sure they don't have homeowners insurance so that should permanently take care of your problem once and for all.
