An "Accident"

I was pumping breastmilk between classes today when I got a call from Miguel. I answered the phone cheerily; I was happy to hear from him at an odd time in the morning. He then informed me that he was in a pretty bad accident and he was waiting for an ambulance. I thought he meant car accident, and I asked how it happened. He said something to the effect of his safety harness getting caught on a forklift and him getting thrown... I think. I asked him what hospital they were going to take him to, and he said he didn't know, but he'd call me as soon as he found out. I packed up all my stuff and came right home because my phone battery was dying and I needed to plug it in to make sure I don't miss his call. It's been a half hour, and I still haven't heard from him. He said it was pretty bad. Now I'm wondering how bad. Life threatening? A broken bone? I don't know, and the waiting is killing me. I tried calling a few minutes ago, but no answer. And I don't have the phone number of anyone he works with, so I can't find out from one of them. I hope he's ok.

If there's any good to be seen here, it's that the accident was a work accident, so we shouldn't have to worry about the bills. Always try to look at the bright side, right?

Well, hopefully the fractured ribs are the only problem and none "others" of any sort will come up. You know that there are lots of people who care about you and will be praying for a good outcome on this.
Hang in there!
