Here's Leyla being cute, and Chloe's legs in the background.
...all done!
Leyla being cute.
And trying to figure out what to do with her hands.
And last but not least, my little angel trying to push the cat off the bead using her head. What a sweet little girl.
In other news, I about lost it today. I knew that I would have to take Chloe to church with me since Miguel would be busy digging up the sewer line (see photos below). So I thought if I actually got there during sacrament meeting, maybe Chloe would have time to relax and perhaps find someone to hang out with so that I didn't have to try and juggle both her and Leyla the entire time. I'll just get to the point, my logic was flawed, and after only 40 minutes of dealing with the both of them at the church, I was about ready to throw them both out a window. I went and found Katherine to ask if she'd fill in for me. I was so flustered and about to burst into tears. She took Leyla for me and then sister Brown took a screaming Chloe away from me, and I went back into the primary room to cool down. Those sweet sisters took care of my babies the entire time, so I had 2 hours away from them, which is exactly what I needed. Hopefully I won't have to take Chloe with me next week...
Here's the progress Miguel and his brother have made so far today.

As you can see, we still haven't gotten around the painting our back window frames.
This hole represents maybe 1/8 of the distance we need to dig up, and the hole still needs to be twice as deep. No wonder the plumbers were going to charge $3,800.

Well, when Chloe undertakes a job (whether it's brushing her teeth or getting up on the bed) it looks like she is VERY thorough! Leyla is getting cuter by the minute (she has your hand by the looks of things- future piano player?)
I'm glad you survivied the trauma of church. You do seem to have some nice friends who are great about helping out.
Miguel is making GREAT progress on the digging! That's just one day, so no too shabby. Every little bit will help in the long run.
Hang in there lil mom! You're doing a fantastic job.
Ouch! That is some digging! I'm particularly impressed by the straight edges and you can give Miguel my compliments there.
I hope it saves big on the refund check!
Church sounds like it was a stress then perhaps a little bliss. That is one thing I always respected about it. For the most part, so many people willing to do service with nothing expected in return.
Those pics are great. I agree with Crazy. Chloe is a doer. I'm guessing she brushed her teeth with the same manic energy she scrubbed the high chair in the little video. (still a favorite)
The compulsive nature seems to hit each generation.
I'm impressed at how you take these two bundles of energy in stride while going to school full time.
Hmmm, I'm seeing a "doer" connection there for Chloe.....
I'm glad that there were people in tune enough at church to lend a hand. I was hoping that would be a happy church story. You do like to hear that people live what they are supposed to. I personally think that is more true the further you get from Utah--but that's just me.
That looks like quite a project that Miguel is undertaking. I wouldn't want to do it! What alot of hard work.
The girls as always are too cute for words!
Chloe already has wonderful personal hygeine- well done! Glad those ladies stepped in a helped you with the girls at church. So glad to hear youguys will be able to save money by digging this up yourself!
