I have a few pictures. I tried to take some still pictures of the girls with my little video camera. It didn't work very well. Just take a look at the picture of the brown pillow. It's blurry, and I'm pretty sure the pillow wasn't moving at all. You can imagine how well a picture of Chloe would turn out. Anyway, I did take a few pictures of my latest sewing projects. We'll start with last week's projects. The blurry brown pillow is a throw pillow for my couch. I tried to get a picture of it with my other pillows on the couch because it looks really nice all put together, but it just looked like a big brown blob with two blue blobs.This is the toddler-size pillow I made for Chloe's crib. The front is quilted. You can't really tell in the picture though. And this is one of the squares for Leyla's quilt. I've finished the top, so I'll try to get a finished picture once the lighting is favorable.And here's a video of Leyla sitting all by herself! Ok, she had a little help from my feet, but pretty much all on her own.
Aww...what a happy girl with a red ruby slipper in her mouth. She is gonna be a talker like her sister I'd say. Too cute. The pillows and quilt top look great. I hope you're able to get done what you wanted without too much interruption. I know that whole momentum thing is vital to completing a project. Hope Leyla gets settled down from her crying jag earlier. Thanks for posting the images and video. Give those girls a hug from gramma.
Are you quilting the quilt too? It is really cute! Not as cute as Miss Leyla with her parrot talk. I'm sure it would be tough to follow the "let her cry" advice from your last post.
The photo stills are better than none. I think the brown fabric with pink swirls is really cute.
