my perfect weekend

you know what i would really like to do this weekend? sleep. that's all i want to do. i tried to take a nap earlier today, but of course leyla woke up within 5 minutes. i don't think she ever sleeps. not for more than 15 minutes at a time anyway. and i'm trying to hold her with my left and type with my right, so you can forget about upper case letters.

i haven't printed pictures from my digital camera for a while because it can get pricey. well, after buying film and a new battery for my old camera, i no longer think printing digital pictures is pricy. i had to pay $13 just to be able to start taking pictures. and once the roll of film is gone, who knows how much it'll cost to get it developed. come on economic stimulus check! i need me a new camera!

Good things always have to come to an end. This semester I have earned an A on every single test/project I've done, with the exception of one lab test where I got a high B. That trend came to a screeching halt this morning. I had a Parasitology test. The problem was that I had a really important presentation on Thursday, so I spent every free moment that past week working on that. I had a couple extra minutes to make a few flash cards for Parasit, but no time to actually look at them until last night. Needless to say, when I finally had time to study last night at around 9:00, I was just too tired. I did study for about 2 hours, but it was tired studying, and there was just too much. I could no longer keep my eyes open. So I showed up at 8:00 in the morning to take my test, and it did not go well at all. Luckily, we can drop our lowest test score. So that means I'll have to study really hard for the last test if I want to get an A in the class. It can be done, I just made things harder on myself.

I guess that's it for now.
