One More Thing

So, I was going to write this big long post about how terrible I'm doing this weekend and how I thought I was over my depression, but it seems to be kicking my ass the past two days, but I decided against it. Instead, I'm going to share this before I go to bed:

I was in the living room doing some sewing. Chloe was in the kitchen and was supposed to be eating yogurt. I knew she wasn't eating because I could hear her and Leyla laughing hysterically about something. I decided to go see what was so funny. This is what I found:
Leyla can't walk. However, she became quite the climber over this weekend (which could have attributed to my stress level). Somehow she got herself from the floor to the top of the table. Pretty impressive.

See the white thing sticking out of Leyla's mouth? That's a clove of garlic. I like garlic, but I'm not that hard core.
When I first came into the kitchen, Chloe had her hand in the yogurt and was talking about lotion. I guess she decided the key lime yogurt made nice lotion and was rubbing it all over her hands.Needless to say, they went straight from the table to the bath tub.

The little monkeys! From my viewpoint (far, far away) it is adorable, garlic and all. From a mom's perspective it is aggravating, cute, but definitely aggravating. Leyla is obviously pretty excited about her newfound skills and testing them on every conceivable front. Who worries about falls? Right?
Hang in the cutie.

You just got to look back and laugh. I totally understand the the frustation and depression that you are going. Kids can be really funny, but I think I would have been so mad seeing what was going on in the kitchen. I hope you are doing well if you like I can give you my number and we can chat anytime you need to. It might help the two of us. Just email me and let me know.

Look at the bright side, you had no vampires that night. The pictures are worth what little trouble they were in. Kids will be kids.
