And Miguel had the house nice and tidy when we got here. I did have to scrub the tub before I would shower because I have high tub standards. But other than that, it looked pretty good. Of course, when I unloaded everything from the car and it turns out we have no place to put everything, it's a mess already. But I'll eventually get it sorted out.
I just discovered that one of my first living-on-my-own purchases doesn't work anymore. It's a retro-style clock that I bought for my first apartment. I love that thing. They still sell the same style, but the new ones have a stupid logo on them that pretty much ruins the retro feel. Shoot. I really liked that clock.
So, I took a few pictures while we were on the road. Not many, but I'll share what I have.
Here we are starting the Provo-Mesa leg of the trip. All bundled up.
This picture looks like nothing, and it's sideways. Well, it is a sideways picture of nothing. However, it was supposed to be a speed limit sign. Somewhere in Utah there was a test area for a new 80 mph speed limit. I was so excited and could hardly believe my eyes, so I tried to get a picture. But I was driving... 82 mph... so it didn't really work. (It turns out most of I-10 in west Texas is 80 mph, too. Not a test section. Just 80. But only during the day. 65 at night.)
I took the next few pictures on the road between Provo and Arizona. The scenery was SO beautiful. I tried to get picutres of it because the colors were so amazing, but either my camera couldn't capture it, or maybe my sunglasses were making the colors look brighter than they really were. I don't know, but it sure was a pretty drive.
Well, I really do have a lot to get done today. I haven't been running in a week. I was hoping that the weight I put on while I was in Idaho was just all in my head. But nope, my home scale confirms it. A good 8 pounds. So, one of my top priorities today is going to be taking advantage of the beautiful weather and making use of my nice jogging stroller and nike+ipod. Time to get back into shape!

I think a day of recuperation is definitely in order. Don't be beating yourself up and enjoy the day! Glad you're back safely.
