We ended up going to a hockey game last night with some friends. And of course, I forgot to bring my camera. I couldn't believe how well-behaved the girls were and how much they actually seemed to enjoy themselves. I figured they'd only put up with it for about a half hour, but they actually lasted the entire game. Which means I kept them up too late, and they're probably going to be cranky today. But I don't work all this week, so it doesn't really matter if our sleep schedule gets thrown off a little bit. Anyway, the team here is called the IceRays, and their mascot is a dude with a stingray for a head. We saw the mascot from afar several times, and Chloe was excited about "Mr. Ray," but when I took her over to see him, she got all paranoid and started yelling "I'm scared of Mr. Ray!!" and wouldn't go near him. Anyway, it was fun to get them out and see Leyla work her charms on everyone she meets. Chloe's a little more reserved. But good times had by all.
Speaking of this week, after talking with my mother, we realized it would probably be a good idea if I try to get Chloe potty trained during this week I have off. That's really not what I want to do, but I don't know when I'll have the time again. Anyway... I guess that's about all I have for now. I'll try to post some pictures of the girls pretty soon.

Chloe should have been thrilled to see Mr. Ray with all her Nemo viewing experience. But, up close and personal is another thing eh? I can just see her. I'm glad you and the girls got out. Sounds like good times. Hopefully there won't be too much crankiness today.
Good luck with the potty training. Patience, patience, patience...
chloe reminds me of me...when my mom took us to go meet spiderman, the easter bunny, santa claus, of sepillin (a famous mexican clown), i would refuse to go near them...they forced me to take pictures with most and i was crying for most of them... the only one i wasnt scared of was wonderwoman...my parents said i really enjoyed her and sitting on her lap...go figure.
Sounds like fun! I love hockey games. I'm sort of starting to realize that there are a lot of things that I like to do that might not be quite as convenient with a baby around. Oh well! :o)
Glad you guys were able to get out and have a good time.
Potty training? Good luck, you can do it!! :)
