I probably don't have time to do this, but I'm going to anyway.
I still haven't found my camera. That's a big bummer. I have my old one, but it eats through batteries like nothing else, and the delay is agonizingly long, which means I can never get the photo that I'm trying to get. I have a lot of pictures of the back of Chloe's head. the point is, sorry, no pictures.
When I was at work yesterday, my boss informed me that all the employees were invited to dinner at 7:00 that evening. Nothing like advanced notice. I said that sounded good, but I'd have to bring my kids. He said sure, and then I texted Shane to see if he could go. I wasn't real sure how this was going to turn out. I had tried to take the girls mini golfing with some friends from work the night before, also at 7:00 and Chloe wanted to go home within 20 minutes. Not only that, they had been historically horrible that morning, and I had a feeling they wouldn't be any better when I got them home. I was right, when we got to the apartment after work, they were on some of their worst behavior. But I was determined to give this a try anyway. We got all ready to go and were one of the first ones at the restaurant. Shane had said he was going to be late, but he arrived about 5 minutes after we did. Anyway, it turned out to be a lot of fun. The girls were on their best behavior and won everyone over. The next thing I knew, it was 9:30! I know two little girls who are going to be grumpy at daycare today. But we all had a lot of fun. The restaurant was a Korean/Japanese place. Lots of sushi, etc. I had never tried sushi, and I was correct in my assumption that I wouldn't like it. But there was plenty of other stuff to try, and I did like a lot of the food. And since everyone I work with is awesome (with the exception of one ass-hole, who didn't show up), it was a really good time.
And that's all the rambling I have time for this morning.

Sounds like a really nice time. I'm glad the girls behaved and that you got to have a fun outing.Hopefully the girls will get all the crankiness out at daycare.
Yay, I'm glad you guys had fun! I think I missed something...last time I heard something about Shane it was that you didn't think he'd be around anymore. Obviously things are improving??
